Art is something that I have been surrounded by for pretty much all of my life, in different forms. From scrapbooks my mom made for mine and my brother's childhood, to pieces that my relatives had made. I was the kind of kid that would ask someone what to draw-- draw it in five minutes and then show it to them to get a smile and sense of pride from doing so.
I am my fathers child in the way that he can not sit still, he has time off work he is working on something be it a family car or stuff around the house. For me it's art in almost any form, I have been making art since I was a little kid. I fully believe that it is a life long interest and that I will always love it.
Art is something that I have always enjoyed and the only options that I did in Jr. high were art options; painting, drawing, general art, work with polymer clay, and 3d printing.
Deciding to continue with art options into high school was a no brainer for me as I have already stated I love art and have been doing it for a long time.

As an artist, I have learned a lot of things, too many to actually express. To put it simply though, I have learned about life. I have learned that creativity is one of the best things for the soul and the mind.

I have changed how I approach art as a whole in many scenarios, I now think about the meaning behind what I make and what inspires me to create.
I am now very confident in my skills as an artist after learning techniques, and theory.
The tools I use to create haven't changed to an extraordinary extent, other than the quality of them. (dollar store paint will always hold a place in my heart though).

A recurring theme in my art is that most of the inspiration comes from life- organic objects or animals, I hope that my art expresses my love for the world, and nature.
