Truth is I kinda hated the work that I made with this project. I had originally wanted to adapt the tools I was using to create the piece instead of fully making the project out of adapted materials. I took inspiration from Vincent Mock, and his creations of aquatic animals with fish hooks, I also took inspiration from one of Renu Mathew’s pieces, the name I can’t remember, but it was a self portrait made with old computer parts, and cds/dvds-- and other materials of the like. I had a fair amount of issues with making the project-- I stabbed myself with wire multiple times while trying to separate them.

I feel that my work/process improved from last year's paper transformation- for one I have not burned myself at all this time. I definitely took a risk with this project and my use of both tinfoil, copper pipe, and copper wires. As well as it contrasts how I typically work-- however both are very chaotic-- I work better with familiar mediums, and so I think that my sketchbook planning was a lot better than the final outcome of the project.
